Brook Pro5 is compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
The Pro5 incorporates all Gen5 features:
- Native PlayStation 5 support.
- OLED display compatibility.
- RGB lighting support.
- Autodetect function (activated by holding Start when plugging USB).
- Compatibility with the Brook Fighting Board Center.
Pro5 architecture optimized for competitive use, delivering faster performance and enhanced reliability. Key technical improvements include:
- Stable 1,000 Hz polling rate on both PC and PlayStation 5 (previously limited to 500 Hz on PlayStation 5).
- Removal of Bluetooth to improve reliability; PlayStation 5 communication is now routed exclusively via USB.
- USB-C port replacing the legacy USB-B interface (compatible with CQD and all USB-C cables).
- Upward-facing connectors to minimize PCB footprint and easier installation.
- Onboard “Fn Key” enabling access to functions without a dedicated button.
