Grommet is the Soul of the Lever
New Material, New Design, Better Consistency.

We have re-design the previous GL silicone ( A and X) to improve the stability and introduce the new XA model.

There are two things that effecting tension from the silicone grommets :

1. Design

Generic (A model) generic design that have full material all around and giving most tension compared to others. "A" model is considered as standard for many decades.

Dual Tension (X model) are our innovation to create different tension between cardinal and diagonal. By reducing material on diagonals it creates less tension. Overall the X design have lower tension compare to A design.

Dual Tension (XA model) a new design that similar to X model, but the cut on the diagonals just half wide compared to X model. Overall the XA design has tension between A and X model.

2. Hardness rating

Higher number is harder, lower is softer. 
30 Yellow = Low
35 Green = Medium-Low
40 Blue = Medium
45 Purple = Medium-Hard
50 Red = Hard

Find the most comfortable tension for your hand.

We QC every silicone one by one and hardness rating measured using KORI calibrated Durometer, all readings +-2 shore A.

    For Tension over 40 the silicone can be stiffer when not used in certain period (especially in cold enviorment), try to warm it up by moving the lever in circle movement a few times before playing.
