Tension in the air In the Summer of 2024, long-time Golden Lever user and professional Tekken player Ulsan approached the ASIndo team with what seemed like a simple challenge: Build a high-tension Golden Fanta that can withstand the highest caliber of competitive play. Undeterred, the team answered the call, utilizing the tools on hand to build a lever fit for a Tekken God. However, the ASIndo team would soon set out to create a new product that would further blur the line between ingenuity and performance… thus the evolution of the Golden Fanta, the Ulsan lever, was born.

Enter the Ulsan lever The new Ulsan lever, created and tuned in collaboration with the namesake himself, is a proven championship-caliber setup that has been tested through some of the most grueling battlefields of the 2024 Tekken World Tour season. Utilizing the ferocious Black Fanta base and 13.5mm Oversized Core, users who enjoy high tension/low throw setups can experience greater feedback and quicker neutrals when compared to the traditional lower-tension/high throw Golden Fanta white body setup. The newly revised 10mm Golden Aluminum Bolt-Shaft paired with 16mm Black Bearing Actuator and 15.5 Bushing proves critical in reducing throw distance and required actuation force. Finally, the beloved ASI Capsule topper which gives the user consistent grip control from top to bottom is the cherry on top.

The Heart of a Champion At the heart of every Golden Lever is the ASI grommet. Made from high-quality silicone, the color-coded hardness rating of the grommet you select makes one of the biggest immediate differences in the performance of your setup. While the white-bodied Golden Fanta contains the legendary Yellow “40+” Fanta grommet, ASIndo would refuse to settle in their quest for the best, giving birth to the brand-new Orange “45+” Fanta grommet found only in the Ulsan lever. This evolution of the original Yellow Fanta grommet continues to allow for different tension between cardinals and diagonals while staying true to the intended design principals.

Back in Black With his new curated lever in hand, Ulsan would not be denied. In the months following its creation, the Beast of South Korea would go on to win four of his next six majors, with the most notable win crowning him as the inaugural Esports World Cup 2024 Tekken 8 Champion alongside a hefty $300,000USD grand prize. Additionally, Ulsan would finish in a closely contested second place on the 2024 Tekken World Tour worldwide leaderboard, cementing 2024 as one of the most successful years of his competitive Tekken career.
